EXCEL Degree Completion Program

EXCEL Overview

What is EXCEL?

The EXCEL Degree Completion Program is a nontraditional program typically serving adults age 25 and older who want to complete their bachelors degree. It is aimed at students who have completed 62 semester credit hours of college with a cumulative 2.0 GPA or better.

Students who have completed fewer than 62 credits but believe they are interested in this kind of delivery system can consult with the EXCEL Office to explore alternate options. Review the information below for details on the EXCEL program.

With the EXCEL Degree completion program you will:

  • Complete your bachelors degree in as little as 15 months
  • Earn 40 hours of upper division credit
  • Obtain a BS in Psychology, Christian Ministry or Business Administration – Along with a minor in Biblical Studies
  • and Attend Class one night a week, with flexible scheduling

Class Scheduling

Because most adult students are employed in other vocations, classes are offered in the evening. Students are able to complete 40 hours of upper division classes by meeting in one four-hour session per week for 64 weeks (15 months).

Getting Started

When you start your EXCEL Degree Completion Program, we will provide you with an Introductory orientation, including a review of your life experiences (in personal life, at home, on the job, and within the church), professional schools and training, and independent studies of the Bible. Our professors have years of experiences in their field and emphasize life application.

Value and Costs

The EXCEL degree will provide you with a bible based education that you can apply to your personal life, and your career. The Cost to get started is minimal compared to other universities and we offer financial aid for those who qualify.

Why Should You Enroll

The EXCEL Degree Completion Program enables adult learners to develop:

  • intra personal and interpersonal skills;
  • written and oral communication skills;
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills;
