Grace World Outreach (GWO) Officers
PURPOSE OF THE GWO EXECUTIVE
To move every member of the Grace University student body toward effective involvement in worldwide disciple making.
FUNCTION OF THE GWO EXECUTIVE:
- Establishes a strategy to fulfill its mission Plans and directs activities consistent with its mission Appoints and supervises subsidiary committees Helps plan and run World Christian Conference
- Plans regular Grace L.I.F.E. chapels
REQUIREMENTS:
PRESIDENT & VICE PRESIDENT:
- 2.5 G.P.A.
- Secure 25 student signatures (form available in the Student Development Office) and return to SDO [by deadline]
- Brief speech in chapel
SECRETARY & TREASURER:
- 2.5 G.P.A.
- Secure 25 student signatures (form available in the Student Development Office) and return to SDO [by deadline]
- Brief speech in chapel
ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS
- Arrive on campus early
- Attend the pre-school Leadership Retreat, for prayer, planning and team-building
- Prepare the campus for student arrival
- Help with new student orientation and registration
- Participate in the New Student Getaway and Community Service Project,
- Participate in regular leadership training sessions during Friday Activity Hours
- Meet regularly with the SBA Executive Committee to pray and plan
